The Des Moines Symphony will broadcast three concerts online as part of its virtual fall “Live from the Temple” concerts on October 1, November 12, and December 17, and a new initiative will provide free access to the livestreams to community and nonprofit organizations, as well as free streaming passes for teachers and healthcare workers. Nonprofits and community organizations such as after-school groups, museums, senior living centers, community parks, and school music departments can apply for free access to share the Symphony’s livestreamed concerts with their communities for outdoor viewing parties, intranet broadcasts, and more. In addition, teachers and healthcare workers are eligible for complimentary streaming passes to a livestreamed Des Moines Symphony concert of their choice, with all “Live from the Temple” concerts through December 2020 included in the offer. Information on both program is available at the Des Moines Symphony website.
