Beginning on December 10, the Boston Symphony Orchestra will stream the Boston Pops’ annual holiday concert on BSO NOW, the orchestra’s streaming portal. Conductor Keith Lockhart leads the orchestra in selections ranging from “Sleigh Ride” to “O Holy Night.” The stream will feature other seasonal music newly recorded at Boston’s Fenway Park and Symphony Hall, and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and Boston Symphony Children’s Choir will perform virtually, with piano accompaniment. Sensory supports will be available for families with children or adults diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder or sensory sensitivities. BSO subscribers, corporate partners, and current BSO, Pops, and Tanglewood donors of $100 or more will receive free access to these programs. The holiday Pops concert can also be separately purchased for $30; access is free for essential workers. The program is available December 10, 2020 through January 9, 2021.
