MANDY PETERSON-TICE has joined the Alabama Symphony Orchestra as director of development. Peterson-Tice has held fundraising positions at universities including Berry College, University of Mississippi, and Belhaven University. Peterson-Tice, a native of Chickamauga, Georgia, is a classically trained soprano and saxophonist. She received a bachelor of music degree in saxophone performance from Berry College in Georgia, and earned a master’s degree in vocal performance and pedagogy at Mississippi College. She is currently a soprano section leader at St. Mary’s on the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama. Kimberly King, the ASO’s corporate development and events manager, has been serving as ​interim director of development, and will continue in her original role with the organization.
