The Austin Symphony Orchestra has appointed JEANNE ROGERS principal librarian. She is also principal librarian for the Britt Classical Festival (Jacksonville, Ore.), a copyist for Music Director Gerard Schwarz at the Seattle Symphony, and a program note writer for a variety of ensembles. Rogers has played violin in Mexico’s Yucatán Symphony and taught English in Brazil. She holds degrees in viola performance from the Eastman School of Music and San Francisco Conservatory.
