BEVERLY LAMBERT has been named chief executive officer at Orchestra Nova in San Diego, Cal., following six months as interim executive director. She has extensive management experience, including seventeen years with IBM, two years with DFI International in Washington, D.C., and ten years as CEO of xStream Corporation, an internet-based software company that she founded in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to her interim appointment as executive director of Orchestra Nova, Lambert served for four years as its director of marketing strategy and communications. She holds a master’s degree in music education and taught music in the public schools for eight years.
