In Wednesday’s (8/31) Press Democrat (Santa Rosa, California), Diane Peterson reports, “The Santa Rosa Symphony has announced the appointment of four new members to its board of directors, offering guidance to the symphony during its 84th year. New board members include Judith Gappa of Santa Rosa, a Professor Emerita of Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, and former board member of the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra; David Stare of Santa Rosa, founder of Dry Creek Vineyard in Healdsburg and longtime symphony season ticket holder; Richard Wilber of Santa Rosa, a physician with Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital who is a continuing donor and advocate for the Green Music Center; and Meg Titchener, an orchestra representative who serves as assistant principal violist of the Santa Rosa Symphony. ‘These four new board members bring tremendous wisdom, talent and energy to our organization,’ said Board President Eric Rossin.
