The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular—the orchestra’s annual free Fourth of July concert at the Charles River Esplanade —will be broadcast live on CBS on July 4 at 10 p.m. ET. Conductor Keith Lockhart will lead the orchestra in a program hosted by actor/singer Michael Chiklis (The Shield; Wired), a Massachusetts native, and featuring pop/R&B singer Jennifer Hudson performing some of the songs for which she is best known. This is the 127th year for the Boston Pops, and the 39th year it has performed its free Fourth of July concert. For more information, visit http://www.bostonpops.org.
