A report in Tuesday’s (7/3) Greenville News (South Carolina) states, “The Greenville Symphony Association recently appointed officers for its 2012-2013 Board of Directors. The new members of the board are: George E. Biediger, vice president of project finance, Fluor Corporation; Dr. Robert Murray, vice president, original equipment, Michelin North America; David J. Firstenberg, president and chief executive officer, Canal Insurance Company; Michael E. Shetterly, managing shareholder, Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.A.; John F. Slipke, retired vice president, human resources, Lockheed Martin; and John F. Verreault III, regional vice president, commercial banking, TD Bank. Board members elected to serve one-year terms as officers during the 2012-2013 season are: Donald H. Nickell Jr., president; Flavia Harton, first vice president; Robert A. Nachman II, second vice president; Rita M. McKinney, secretary; Thomas L. Willcox, treasurer.”
