The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association Board of Directors has elected DIANE B. PAUL to succeed DAVID C. BOHNETT as chair, effective October 1, 2013. She is a retired attorney who specialized in litigation with the law firms Loeb & Loeb; Cox, Castle & Nicholson; and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Paul has served on the Board of Directors as chair of the education committee and as a member of the executive, marketing, and community engagement committees. She has also served on the orchestra’s Board of Overseers, which she was inspired to join by the opening of Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2003.
