The Westchester Philharmonic, headquartered near New York City in White Plains, N.Y., has announced the election of MILLICENT KAUFMAN as chair of its Board of Directors. A member of the board for eleven years, and board president from 2003-06, she succeeds NEIL D. AARON, who remains on the board’s executive committee. A resident of Scarsdale, N.Y., Kaufman is president and owner of K L Travel in Scarsdale. She has served as president of the Scarsdale Summer Music Theatre and director of the Westchester County branch of American Field Service, an international student exchange program. She is a graduate of the University of California-Berkeley and holds a master’s degree from Columbia University.
