The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra has appointed STACY BAUERLEIN HANDLER as director of development and marketing. She was previously associate director of development at the New York Pops, and director of development and strategic marketing at Gibney Dance in New York City. She has also held senior fundraising positions with Lumberyard Contemporary Performing Arts and PENCIL, a New York nonprofit that works to connect public school students with business professionals. Handler earned an M.A. in performing arts administration from New York University and a B.A. in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta. She is a classically trained mezzo-soprano and a graduate of the Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida.
