Cleveland Institute of Music has named LYNN JOHNSON director of admissions and enrollment management, effective March 4. Since 2003 she has been director of admissions at The Hartt School of the University of Hartford and an adjunct faculty member in Hartt’s Music Education Division. Johnson’s background also includes positions in admissions and public relations at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte; at Brevard (N.C.) Music Center; and at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where she received degrees in bassoon performance and arts management. She has taught at Mars Hill (N.C.) College and the University of North Carolina-Asheville, and for many years was a regular member of North Carolina’s Asheville, Hendersonville, and Brevard symphony orchestras.
