The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia has announced the appointment of KRISTEN B. LODEN as senior vice president of development. She was formerly vice president of development and campaign director at the Aspen Institute, a nonprofit policy and education organization. Loden has also served as executive director of development at the Alley Theatre in Houston, and has held posts at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, The Juilliard School, and the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. She holds two degrees in vocal performance: a bachelor’s from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and a master’s from the University of Houston.
