SCOTT HARRISON has been named director of patron engagement and loyalty programs at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. In this capacity he will head one of three teams—patron development, patron engagement, and patron advancement—that constitute the DSO’s new Office of Patron and Institutional Advancement, unveiled last May with the appointment of Paul W. Hogle as executive vice president. Harrison goes to Detroit from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, where he was associate director of marketing. He had earlier spent several years managing community programs for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Harrison is an alumnus of the League of American Orchestras’ Executive Leadership Program 2 for Development and Marketing Professionals.
