JANET FOWLER has been named executive director of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra in Petoskey, Michigan. A self-employed consultant and trainer for nonprofit organizations, Fowler has served as an arts volunteer in area schools, as an administrator and grant writer, and as board member and president of the Association for Harbor Arts. She has played piano since the age of four.
