CAROLYN EGEBERG has been appointed vice president of advancement at the Minnesota Orchestra, effective on February 7. Egeberg succeeds Dianne Brennan, who led the orchestra’s fundraising efforts from 2014 until September 2018. Egeberg has served since 2016 as the vice president of strategy at the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundations, the state’s largest community foundation. Prior to that, she held positions as vice president of development at the Science Museum of Minnesota (2013-16), where she led the team in raising $10 million in annual funding, and at CaringBridge (2002-13), where she expanded the donor base to 100,000 donors. A native of Minnesota, Egeberg began her career as a software engineer, holding positions at 3M and ETA Systems. She is a board member at the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphony, past president of the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and serves on the Ethics Committee of the International Association of Fundraising Professionals.
