Orchestra Nova in San Diego has appointed JOAN CUMMING director of marketing and development. She served most recently as senior director, marketing and communications, for the Autry National Center in Los Angeles. Prior posts include vice president, marketing and communications, Los Angeles Philharmonic; and director of marketing and communications, La Jolla Playhouse, where she also served as interim managing director.
