The Rogue Valley Symphony, based in southwest Oregon with concert series in Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass, has announced the appointment of JANE E. KENWORTHY as executive director, effective July 1, 2014. She goes to Rogue Valley from the Stockton Symphony in California, where she has served as executive director/CEO since 2008. Kenworthy is a veteran performing arts administrator who has held management posts with the Washington (D.C.) Bach Consort; the Baltimore and Annapolis symphony orchestras in Maryland; Virginia’s Roanoke and Fairfax symphony orchestras; and the Dubuque Symphony in Iowa.
