Through the generosity of American Express, the League has been invited to extend an opportunity to its members to nominate a member of their staff to participate in the American Express Non-Profit Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy supports promising emerging leaders from across the non-profit sector (not only orchestras) who aspire to be executive directors or department heads within the next 5-10 years. Participants need to have some supervisory experience and be in their positions for no more than three years.
American Express Nonprofit Leadership Academy provides an outstanding opportunity for a small number of highly motivated orchestra staff and other nonprofit community emerging leaders to receive leadership training provided by the Center for Creative Leadership. Applications due January 22, 2010.
