The Dallas Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of TERRY PRICE as interim director of the Dallas Symphony Chorus. Price is director of music at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas and a former member of the Dallas Symphony Chorus as well as the Orpheus Chamber Singers, also in Dallas. His extensive background in choral direction includes posts as director of music at Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas, and Plymouth Park United Methodist Church in Irving, Texas. Price holds a master’s degree in sacred music from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University and a bachelor’s in music education from Tarleton State University in Killeen, Texas.
