SAMUEL ROTHSTEIN has been named assistant principal clarinet/bass clarinet in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and the Milwaukee, Virginia, Richmond (Va.), New World, and Illinois symphonies. Rothstein holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Northwestern University and received further training at Spoleto Festival USA, Tanglewood Music Center, and the National Repertory Orchestra.
