The Pacific Symphony, in California’s Orange County, has announced that three of its longtime musicians are stepping down from the orchestra this summer: RAYMOND KOBLER, who has served as concertmaster since 1999; Principal Viola ROBERT BECKER, a 32-year veteran of the orchestra; and RUSSELL DICEY, who has played fourth horn since 1987. Becker and Dicey plan to remain active in music: Becker is director of strings at Chapman University (Orange, Calif.) and Dicey will continue as music librarian for the Pacific Symphony.
