The Reno Philharmonic in Nevada has announced the addition of four new contract musicians. ROBIN BONNELL joins the orchestra as assistant principal cello, HUI LIM as section violin, JOSEPH TATUM as section cello, and MARK WALLACE as assistant principal bass.

Robin Bonnell, assistant principal cello, has played with orchestras throughout California as well as with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra.

Hui Lim, section violin, is concertmaster of the orchestra at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has played with the Greensboro (N.C.) Symphony Orchestra, the Tallahassee (Fla.) Symphony Orchestra, the Singapore Festival Orchestra, and the Singapore Pops Orchestra.

Joseph Tatum, section cello, is a master’s degree candidate in cello performance at the University of Nevada, Reno; he has performed with the Indiana University Orchestra, the Columbus Symphony Orchestra of Indiana, and the Owensboro (Ky.) Symphony Orchestra. 

Mark Wallace, assistant principal bass, is a member of the bass section of the New West Symphony and the Sarasota (Fla.) Opera Orchestra, and has served as assistant principal bass in Brazil’s Philharmonic Orchestra of Mina Gerais.
