The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra has announced that former SPCO violinist KYU-YOUNG KIM will return to the orchestra as principal second violin beginning with the 2011-12 season. He was associate concertmaster of the SPCO from 2000 to 2005 before moving to New York City to perform full-time with the Daedalus Quartet, of which he was a founding member. Also a member of the New York City Ballet Orchestra and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Kim holds degrees from the Curtis Institute, The Juilliard School, and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
