At Utah Symphony | Utah Opera in Salt Lake City, BARLOW BRADFORD has been named Utah Symphony chorus director and CALEB HARRIS Utah Opera chorus master.

Symphony Chorus Director Barlow Bradford is co-founder of the award-winning vocal ensemble Utah Chamber Artists, and has distinguished himself as a conductor, composer, arranger, pianist, organist, and teacher. He has served as music director of Salt Lake City’s Orchestra at Temple Square and associate director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Prior to that he was director of orchestras at the University of Utah. Bradford holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California and studied conducting at Tanglewood Music Center and at Aspen Music Festival and School.

Caleb Harris, chorus master at Utah Opera, is active as a pianist, chamber musician, conductor, and vocal/opera coach. He has appeared throughout the U.S. Europe, and Asia and has performed and taught master classes at such institutions as the Eastman School of Music, the University of Michigan, Westminster Choir College, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Harris goes to Salt Lake City from the University of Northern Colorado, where he was associate professor of music and director of the Collaborative Program. He is a graduate of Eastman.
