The Greater Akron Musical Association, parent organization of the Akron (Ohio) Symphony, has announced the election of TED GOOD to a two-year term as president. A member of the orchestra’s board since 1996, and most recently its executive vice president, Good is owner and CEO of Steinway Hall-Akron and the Mattlin-Hyde Piano Company in Cleveland, as well as founder and president of the T.S. Good Church Organ Company. A resident of Silver Lake, Ohio, he has chaired the Advancement Council of the University of Akron’s College of Fine and Applied Arts, and is past president and life director of the Cleveland International Piano Competition.
