The Charleston (S.C.) Symphony Orchestra Board of Director has voted to approve attorney JOHN H. WARREN III as its president. Warren had previously held the post during the 1984-85 season, and returned to the CSO board shortly before the start of the 2009-10 season. He has served as chairman of the South Carolina Bar Association’s Corporate, Banking and Securities Section; as board director of Roper Hospital and Spoleto Festival USA; and as board president of the Historic Charleston and College of Charleston foundations. Warren received a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston in 1967, and is a 1972 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law.
