A free webinar for League of American Orchestras members on Friday, Nov. 4 will shine a spotlight on the five orchestra musicians who earned Ford Musician Awards for Excellence in Community Service. Learn what motivates these musicians to go above and beyond the expected—and how to foster the full range of potential that musicians have to provide meaningful service through music. The awardees were selected by a panel of industry professionals through a competitive process. Each musician received a $2,500 grant, with another $2,500 going to his or her orchestra to fund professional development for musicians that focuses on community service and engagement. The League’s new Ford Musician Awards for Excellence in Community Service are made possible by Ford Motor Company Fund.
