Heran Sereke-Brhan and Nagham Wehbe, vice presidents at Arts Consulting Group, will lead the League’s January 28, 2024 seminar, “Organizational Resiliency in Times of Change” in Detroit.

On January 28, 2024, the League of American Orchestras will present “Organizational Resiliency in Times of Change,” an interactive four-hour workshop that explores what sustainability and resiliency mean from financial, strategic, and internal culture perspectives. Led by Arts Consulting Group, the seminar takes place in Detroit and will focus on how to maintain momentum for orchestras during times of social, technological, economic, environmental, and political change. Heran Sereke-Brhan and Nagham Wehbe, vice presidents at Arts Consulting Group, will facilitate the workshop, which will include presentations on industry data, trends, and examples of innovations in the field, as well as participatory discussions.

“Organizational Resiliency in Times of Change” coincides with the League’s 2024 Midwinter Managers Meeting, January 28-29 in Detroit; the Midwinter Managers Meeting is a gathering of League-member orchestra executive directors and youth orchestra administrators. From January 24 to 27, the Sphinx Organization’s Annual Convening will also be held in Detroit. The convening will commence with the Sphinx Orchestral Partners Auditions, followed by SphinxConnect, Sphinx’s gathering focused on diversity and inclusion in classical music.
