The American Musicological Society announced on August 26 that Robert F. Judd, its longtime executive director, died suddenly on August 24, in Bronxville, New York. He was 63. Judd grew up in Ohio, where as a boy he sang in the choir of Christ Episcopal Church, Shaker Heights, and later in various British chapels and cathedrals.
