Cohn “serves as cover for Music Director Fabio Luisi and oversees family concerts and youth programs…. Cohn in summer 2022 will be assistant conductor of the Aspen Music Festival…. In the past he has served as cover conductor for the Atlanta and National symphonies…. Lesley Leighton, a noted choral conductor and opera singer, has been appointed principal guest conductor of the San Bernardino (CA) Symphony Orchestra. In addition to conducting at the Los Angeles Opera and serving … as associate conductor of the Los Angeles Master Chorale … Leighton is artistic director of the Los Robles Master Chorale and director of choral activities at California State San Bernardino. She’ll [start] her own series with the newly formed San Bernardino Symphony Chorus…. Philadelphia-based trumpeter and conductor Kenneth Bean recently made his debut with the Princeton (NJ) Symphony Orchestra, of which he has been appointed assistant conductor. It’s a position he holds as well with the Symphony in C Youth Orchestra [Collingswood, NJ] and … [other] youth ensembles in New Jersey. He holds a BM from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and a MME from Jackson State University.”
