The Owensboro Symphony has announced that it will return to the concert hall after more than 18 months away with its Home for the Holidays performance on December 11 at the RiverPark Center in Owensboro, Kentucky. The program will feature traditional holiday selections as well as new works, including selections from The Nutcracker, Scrooge, White Christmas, and The Polar Express. The Owensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Owensboro Symphony Chorus will also perform in the concert, led by Music Director Troy Quinn. Also performing will be vocalist Tevin Vincent, a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College who is pursuing a master of music degree in vocal performance at the University of Kentucky. The orchestra will follow the RiverPark Center’s COVID-19 guidelines, which include presenting tickets before entering the building and wearing a face covering until seated for the concert.
