Following the Indianapolis Colts’ win in their January 4 playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Colts coach Chuck Pagano described quarterback Andrew Luck as a “maestro” at a press conference, prompting the team to ask for permission from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra to post footage of the home-team orchestra at its website. The footage at the Colts site shows Indianapolis Symphony Music Director Krzysztof Urbanski conducting the ISO in Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4, in a video mash-up of the ISO playing the Mendelssohn as quarterback Andrew Luck and the Colts compete on the gridiron. The video can be viewed here. (The Colts’ next playoff game is scheduled for January 18 against the New England Patriots.)
