Here are some of the other upcoming spring concerts in the region.” Concerts from March to May include the Norwalk Symphony’s staged production of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro; the New Haven Symphony’s Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 and Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto, with soloist Nick Canellakis; a Greenwich Symphony program featuring violinist Elmar Oliveira; the Stamford Symphony’s Haydn, Mendelssohn, and Schumann concerts led by Paul Watkins, one of the orchestra music director candidates; a Waterbury Symphony program featuring pianist Garrick Ohlsson in Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 2; and the Ridgefield Symphony’s Mozart program featuring Symphony No. 41 and Violin Concerto No. 4, with soloist Angelo Xiang Yu.
