On June 15 and 16, Pittsburgh radio station WQED’s “Voice of the Arts” program posted multiple podcasts focusing on the League of American Orchestras’ 2023 National Conference, which took place in Pittsburgh June 14-16. The podcasts include:
–an interview with National Endowment for the Arts Chair Maria Rosario Jackson, who delivered the keynote address at the Opening Session of the Conference;
–an interview with League President and CEO Simon Woods;
–the League’s Annual Meeting, including the presentation of the League’s Gold Baton award to New York Philharmonic President and CEO Deborah Borda by author and filmmaker Jamie Bernstein;

–Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Principal Pops Conductor Byron Stripling’s keynote speech from the Closing Session of the 2023 Conference.
